Each month a new selected artist will bring an original work to their alternative stage at Arkham. We invite you to experience this alternative theater setting for an evening length’s performance one Thursday of every month.

每个月都将有一位新的艺术家带他们的原创作品来到Arkham俱乐部。我们邀请您每个月的 某一个周四晚，来体验这个非传统的舞台环境中开启的表演艺术之旅。

The first performance will be held on Thursday August 9th. Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8:00pm.
Admission : 80rmb

*场表演将会于8y月9日周四晚进场，

7点30分即可进场，演出将于8点开始。

9点我们还会有after party 可以和这些艺术家门一起跳舞social

This performance was inspired by and created for this particular space, in hope of a distinctive viewing experience and dialogue.

Audiences are expected to take a piece of red string before entering.

A new resident in Shanghai, who is quickly becoming a strong member of the experimental dance / art scene. He has danced in the Sichuan Modern Dance Company, Hong Kong International Choreography Festival, Beijing Dance week and Idance Festival. He recently debuted the evening length’s piece ‘Chaos’, as a commission for Shanghai Theater Academy.

一位迅速融⼊了了上海的实验舞蹈/艺术展现的新居⺠民。曾于四川现代舞团、⾹港国际编舞 节、北京舞蹈周和Idance舞蹈节演出，他近日于上海戏剧学院编创并首演了整剧长度委约作 品“混沌”。

长达五个⽉月的系列列表演计划，每个⽉将由不同的艺术家或组合呈现。

关于生场:

IN THE FLESH is a platform for independent artists creating experimental dance, theater and multi-media performance work. This year our five month-long performance series will feature one new artist presented monthly at the music venue Arkham.

生场是一个供独立艺术家将他们的实验舞蹈、剧场及跨媒介作品带给观众的演出平台。

今年 我们将于Arkham俱乐部联⼿开展长达五个月的月度艺术家驻场系列列表演计划。

IN THE FLESH addresses the issue of space available for staging performance-based work in Shanghai, and attempts to act as a bridge between independent artists and spaces to present their work by creating intangible ‘theaters’ within alternative spaces.

生场十分关注上海舞台型表演艺术的空间局限，所以在此尝试为独立艺术家和在不同场所的“无形中的”剧场空间之间架筑一道桥梁。

The Body Lab’s first collection will be displayed in a pop-up shop as part of the “IN THE FLESH” series of performances. The Body Lab is also pleased to take part in this project to support dance art.
此次，the body lab 的⾸*系列列将在“IN THE FLESH” 系列列表演中以pop-up shop的形式进⾏行行展 示，the body lab也作为对于舞蹈艺术项⽬的支持者参与其中。

The Body Lab is a unique multi-disciplinary project by the independent womenswear label FENGYI TAN, conceptually based on contemporary dance, and which artistically explores the functionality of women’s sportswear. The Body Lab bases its research on the movement of the body, and aims to create flexible “soft body sculpture” via the relationship between elastic materials and the spatial forms of the female body.

The Body Lab 是从独⽴设计师女装品牌FENGYI TAN延伸出的以舞蹈为主的艺术综合项目， 是对女性运动服功能性的艺术化探索。The Body Lab以肢体运动为研究核心，通过弹性面料 和女性身体空间的相互关系，创造具有包容性的身体“软雕塑”。

SL Studio is a Shanghai-based creative boutique studio, founded by producer & filmmaker Sophia Liu, specializing in video and film production, with focus on culture, fashion, design, education and performing arts content. SL⼯工作室是位于上海的一间原创⼯工作室，由制作人及影像艺术家Sophia Liu创⽴，专注于文 化、时尚、设计、教育及表演艺术的影像电影制作。
