“The slow blade penetrates the shield” - Dune
The Slow Blade is the solo project of Dann Gaymer (Guiguisuisui, Nekroma, Shining Dimensions, Nasty Wizard Recordings, Daftpop), a British born artist who has spent the past decade living in Asia and touring the world. The Slow Blade combines the roots elements of Delta and Chicago blues with the foreboding of doom, mixed with sometimes ambient and otherworldly drones. Emotional vignettes of dark encounters, in the vein of HP Lovecraft as much as Son House.
