nugget records, a new independent cassette label based in Beijing, will be having a launch party in DDC on the 19th of September.
nugget records 是一个新成立于北京的独立唱片公司，将于9月19日在DDC黄昏黎明俱乐部举办发布活动。
The show will feature music from Wuhan-Beijing band lost memory machine and local producer thruoutin, both of whom are releasing tapes with the label on the night. Rounding up the acts is frequent lost memory machine collaborator and lo-fi legend Uncle Hu.
这次活动我们将为大家带来“武汉北京云乐队” Lost Memory Machine和活跃于本地的制作人thruoutin的音乐——他们都将在当晚发行在Nugget Records出品的磁带并演出。一起庆祝演出的还有经常与Lost Memory Machine合作的的低保真传奇乐队Uncle Hu
nugget records will also be releasing volume one of their cassette culture zine on the night, as well as unveiling their very own cassette play-er, the "pocket nugget"!

lost memory machine is a lo-fi pop project consisting of Beijing-based David (from Nocturnes) and Wuhan-based Shii. The project began with David, who decided to share some of his spare composi-tions with Shii, and resulted in them collaborating remotely on a side-project with a lo-fi feel.
“失忆机器” lost memory machine 是在北京的David (Nocturnes曳取吉他手）和在武汉的Shii通过远程协作完成的lo-fi pop Project。恰好David有许多空闲时写的没有完成的吉他段子，两人决定合作一个偏向lo－fi的side project，Shii*着David给的音频开始写人声和合成器部分。
thruoutin (Electronic, Traditional)
来自美国的电子音乐家兼音乐制作人(thruoutin)定居中国10多年。多元化的音乐风格, 把奇怪的温情电子和中国民乐音乐 结合在一起。你可以听到多种艺术创作思维在他的音乐里,尤其是对大自然的采样和物理电子声音的钟爱。
曾在北美洲和亚洲有过巡回演出,除了他个人独立发行专辑之外,他还与多家唱片公司都有过合作关系。燃音乐和京味儿等都 曾发行过他的音乐。
2017年 曾在Boiler Room中国演出，还有在豆瓣音乐Wetware音乐节和张北音乐节都有演出过。
American born electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist, thru-outin, has been based in China since 2009. His work varies from pro-ject to project but often revolves around the combining of different genres with a focus on organic and digital sounds.
He has extensively toured through North America and Asia; releasing music on several labels along the way. Most Recently he has put out work with Beijing labels RAN Music and Jingweir as well as perform-ing on Boiler Room China and playing at festivals such as Wetware and Jiangbei.
Uncle Hu (Indie Rock)
Beijing-based indie musician Uncle Hu has been making music under the influence of classic rock music in the 1960s, along with lo-fi / indie rock in the 1990s. Obsessed with exploring the potential of acoustic instruments, Uncle Hu released his debut album When Memories Collide in 2015. More recently, Uncle Hu has been performing with a full-band line-up, ex-ploring the broader boundaries of eras and genres.
独立音乐人Uncle Hu目前在北京生活。创作深受六七十年代迷幻音乐和九十年代独立摇滚影响，Uncle Hu的音乐在Lo-Fi/低保真粗粝外衣之下融和成为一种优美又有锐气，怪诞又有趣味的个人风格。在2015年独立发行首张专辑《When Memories Collide》之后，Uncle Hu目前正以全乐队编制探寻年代与流派的更广阔边界。
