Puddles（水坑乐队）是一支成立于2015年的国际化的独立乐队。按照Animal Collective和Vampire Weekend组建了这一支迷幻流行乐团。这个乐队用古典旋律与和声来赞美他们的宠物、电子游戏和体育运动的怀旧歌词。其中有一种好玩的音符急转会很快进入你的脑海，当你*次听过他们的歌后也会不自觉地跟着哼唱起来。
Puddles is an international indie band that formed in 2015 over a mutual interest in odd-time signatures and densely layered psychedelic pop in the vein of Animal Collective and Vampire Weekend. The band's use of classical melodies and harmonies compliment their nostalgic lyrics about pets, video games and sports with a playful quirk that can get stuck in your head so quick, you’ll be singing the songs by the end of your first listen.
Puddles, with a core group, has always been changing, at times massive with a horn section, full rhythm section and a synth, and sometimes present a simple folky sound with acoustic guitar and a banjo. Now based in Kunming, over the past few years, the band has toured extensively throughout Asia and played The Carnival in Goa, India in 2018, and the MuiNe (Vietnam) Cargo Remote Music Festival in 2017.

Tom - Guitar, Vocals
Tom started out playing Jazz piano at a young age and moved to guitar after school. He played in various grunge bands in Australia before developing his own live digital drum software which he used to create a one-man-band called Kettering Bug. As KB he toured Australia, playing various festivals (FutureSounds, LoveAll, Tonicfest) and even reached the top of some radio stations yearly charts, but decided a bigger band would be more rewarding and founded Puddles in China. Puddles have played various festivals throughout Asia (Join Us festival, Cargo remote, Lancang River beer festival, Carnival) building a strong following along the way, and developing their own unique sound.
Danjo - Banjo
Dan played punk music at house parties when he was young for free booze. While in college, he found a love for the banjo and old-time bluegrass music. Seven years ago, he played in a band called Scotch on the Rocks. They toured southern China and played at Libo Music Festival. When Dan's band members were stolen by Israeli girls, he started a new group in Dali called 噶, until his band mate was stolen by yoga. He's now banjoist and backup vocalist for Puddles. They have toured extensively through Yunnan province, Vietnam, and India. They've played at Cargo Remote, Lancang River beer festival and the almighty Carnival in Goa.
Mary - Keys, Accordion, Xylophone
Mary started playing piano when she was a child, and first featured on a recording with the Rubber Chicken Kids when she was six. In recent years she has gone down the academic route, obtaining a Masters in Ethnomusicology from University College Cork, Ireland and is also currently undertaking a PhD at Yunnan University in Chinese Ethnic Minority Music. She somehow found herself living with Tom and Dan in Kunming in 2016 and has been playing various instruments and singing backing vocals with Puddles on and off since then, throughout both China and Vietnam.
Ludwig - Piano
Born in El Socorro, Colombia, accomplished his piano studies with Marina Shevtsova at Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga.Throughout his carrer he acted as a soloist and accompanist in different scenarios along the country. In 2007, he won the first prize in the classical music category of the Young Interpreters contest of the Club Profesionales de Bucaramanga. During the last eight years worked as piano teacher and accompanist in the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga and the Universidad Industrial de Santander.
Philippe - Drums
From Grenoble in France, Philippe learned classical piano at an early age and switched to drums as a teenager. In France, he played in a few bands though the years, from jazz to rock. But he really started playing more music when he moved to Kunming in 2008, where he also joined diverse bands (from latin to ska punk) and organized open mics and jam sessions for a while.
