试图以自己的定义描绘属于京城的未来之声 — 这种声音并不局限于任何音乐类型和流派，可以是 techno, experimental, club, 也可以是 dancehall, gqom 和 grime。

S!LK is an electronic music & art brand from China, founded by Beijing's new generation clubrepresentatives Puzzy Stack and Bloodz Boi. S!LK promotes future sounds and avant-garde clubbeats, aiming to discover the freshest music and artists and showcase them through parties,which have become a staple of Beijing's underground music scene.

These S!LK showcases have become the landmark party at Dada Beijing (a famous Club inBeijing), and have consequently created a space for local and international producers and DJs toperform in China’s capital. Not only does such a space have a positive impact on thedevelopment of Beijing’s underground music scene, but also strengthens those in Shanghai,Hangzhou, Shenzhen and other domestic cities across China. Acts that have been involved so farinclude locals Yesen, YISHAN, OOPS2, STYX, Radiax, Negative808 and Nomercy; as well asinternational headliners P Money, Sinjin Hawke & Zora Jones, Bonaventure, DJ Paypal, Abyss X, NAAFI, Suicideyear,Florentino, Slackk, Drippin, Swing Ting, Air Max ’97, Trekkie Trax and Bulma.

S!LK is not just restricted to a music label. Through creating parties S!LK has been able tocontribute its character to the club scene and respond to the current social trends of thecommunity. As S!LK recognises the way social and aesthetic trends relate to music, they havebeen able to develop a brand where these components are always in reference to one another.This is obvious as their aesthetics and merch are just as expressive as their music and parties,making them relevant and exciting to their engaged audience.

Director of S!LK, Puzzy Stack, is a strong representative of the new generation of DJs in Beijing.With a rich background in both traditional and contemporary music, as well as experience workingwith international institutions like performing Boiler Room and creating a mixtape for Radar Radio,he now wants to help local producers have their music heard by the world.

This first compilation is a celebration of S!LK so far, channelling the notion of ‘rebirth’ in anattempt to encapsulate the invigorating presence of the collective within their city. Featuringartists both local and international, the compilation captures the dynamic and refreshing nature oftheir nights, which can be heard in this collection of tracks as they range from techno,experimental, club, dancehall, gqom and grime.
