John Mclean 约翰 · 麦克莱恩（Guitar）

Jazz guitarist John McLean's 25 year career has included work as a performer, composer, arranger, producer, bandleader, and educator.

Since completing music studies at The Berklee College of Music and the University of Miami, McLean has toured throughout the world, performing and recording in a wide variety of musical contexts.

He has appeared and recorded with Kurt Elling, Mose Allison, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Patricia Barber, Randy Brecker, Adam Nussbaum, Dave Douglas, Arthur Blythe, and many more.

McLean's 2007 recording, "Better Angels," (Origin Records) features his exciting septet in a program of original music and innovative arrangements of jazz classics. The project reflects McLean's increasing interest in combining jazz improvisation with more elaborate compositional structures and fresh instrumental settings.

John McLean is currently based in the Chicago area and is on the music faculties of Roosevelt University and North Central College.

Stu Mindeman 斯图 · 明德曼（Piano）

Stu Mindeman is an active pianist/keyboardist/composer based in Chicago. Stu spent his formative years in Santiago, Chile and Chicago, raised in a home filled with music.

In addition to touring with Kurt Elling, Stu has performed throughout the world with many other artists, including Kirk Whalum, Gloria Estefan, Dave Weckl, Antonio Sanchez, Mark Guiliana, Steve Smith, James Genus, Howard Levy, John Clayton, Fareed Haque, Juan Pastor's Chinchano, Marquis Hill, Matt Ulery, Gary Sinise, Christopher Cross, and many others.

He has also had the pleasure of musically directing for Chicago's The Second City comedy troupe, in addition to composing, arranging, and producing for numerous other artists in Chicago and worldwide.

Stu's latest album of original music, In Your Waking Eyes: Poems by Langston Hughes, was released in 2014 to critical acclaim.

Clark Sommers 克拉克 · 萨默斯（bass）

Bassist, composer, and educator, Clark has toured and performed extensively throughout the world. Clark completed his undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies and World Music at the California Institute of the Arts, where he studied with bass masters Charlie Haden and Darek Oles. While living in Los Angeles, Clark performed with Leo Smith, Vinny Golia, The Charlie Haden Liberation Orchestra, Joe LaBarbera and Larry Koonse. He continues to seek expansion of his craft by pursuing his musical studies with masters such as David Grossman of the New York Philharmonic, Mike Longo, and Stefon Harris.

When not on the road with Kurt Elling, Clark enjoys leading his own group, Ba(SH). The group includes long-time friends Dana Hall and Geof Bradfield. The group's first recording, Ba(SH), was released in August 2013 and has received critical acclaim. It was acknowledged on the "notable and not to be missed" list by All About Jazz in 2013.

Adonis Rose阿多尼斯 · 罗斯（drum）

New Orleans is a good place to grow up as a drummer. The unique rhythm and funky back beat of the city's music become a part of life's imprinting process that gives a drummer a special feel for his subject matter. Drummer Adonis Rose is in that number of who share that advantage in working with some of the top jazz musicians from the Birthplace of Jazz.

Rose has released five recordings as a leader. On the Verge is his third recording on the Criss Cross label, following 1998’s Song for Donise and 1999’s The Unity. Adonis Rose and the N.O.Vaders and The Fort Worth Jazz Orchestra are his two latest recordings. Rose has toured and recorded with trumpeter Nicholas Payton, Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, pianist Ellis Marsalis, and Harry Connick Jr..

In February 2010, Adonis Rose received a Grammy Award for his performance on the cd “Book One” with Irvin Mayfield and The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. Adonis Rose continues to perform all over the world, and just recently performed in Hawaii for United States President Barack Obama.
