如果说DJ Krush是日本嘻哈教父，那么DJ Kentaro无疑*是日本的DJ教父。

2001年，年仅19岁的DJ Kentaro凭借着出色的个人表现进入DMC世界DJ*大赛决赛圈，

他也同时成为了*站在这世界DJ殿堂级擂台上的亚洲面孔。

Japan’s turntable maestro, DJ KENTARO, has taken music appreciation in all genres to another level, and has managed to exceed expectations from his fans and has also gained respect of the music industry around the world. As Japan's premiere DJ/producer/scratch master-turntablist, he became Asia's first record-breaking world champion at the DMC World Final in 2002. From then DJ KENTARO went on to play the world-famous Fuji Rock Festival, which paved the way for his global recognition and to grace the stages of some of the biggest international music events.

而在随后的2002年DMC世界DJ*大赛上，

DJ Kentaro毫无悬念地夺得了当届的全球总*，他的夺冠在日本造成了极大的轰动，

In December 2004, under the Ninja Tunes label, DJ KENTARO released "On the Wheels of Solid Steel," his mix-tape CD mixed with a collection of Ninja Tunes tracks. As a leading producer coupled with exclusive remixes, he has amassed quite a collection of collaborators, musicians and singers, remixes for domestic and international artists, and has contributed to numerous song-writing productions, which is available world-wide.

After the release of the DVD, “National Geoscratch,” in January 2005, which covers his first 40-day, solo European tour, one of the featured clips, “Loop Daigakuin,” reached 2,000,000 views on You Tube. During this time DJ KENTARO appeared on numerous television programs such as, NHK’s "Top Runner" and Space Shower TV’s “ID." 

通过十余年从不间断的训练与探索，DJ Kentaro让黑胶唱机、

数码碟机这些音乐播放设备在他手中成为牵动人情绪的秘密武器。

不过有着23年DJ生涯的Kentaro并不吝啬于分享他的技术与经验，

他开展了大量的Workshop，Scratch Jam向年轻人传授自己的技巧并同时推广DJ文化。

In April of 2006, he officially signed with the Ninja Tune label and in 2007, his first solo album, "Enter” was released internationally. This album was highly acclaimed for its intense rhythms and genre-crossing sound design. It reached #1 on the Oricon Indies Chart, and both the album and single were the #1 hit on the iTunes Dance Chart.  

In 2008, DJ KENTARO released “Tuff Cuts”, on the UK reggae label, Pressure Sounds, and his DJ mix, “Nama Live Mix”, was later released on his own label, Endeavor. 

2015年Kentaro正式把他的事业重心转移向了教育，

同年他创办了World DJ Academey学院立志为日本培养出更多后备DJ人才。

World DJ Academey开办吸引到了大量青年人才前来求学，

其中*包括了2016年DMC世界DJ大赛总*DJ Yuto。

In 2010, he participated in the 20-year anniversary compilation CD for Ninja Tune and in April of 2011, 

DJ KENTARO played to a fanatic crowd at the legendary US music Mecca, the Coachella Festival.

DJ Yuto从13年*开始了他的DJ生涯，

不过在师从Kentaro之前他的音乐风格一直以House为主。

2015年Yuto在Kentaro的亲自教导下丰富了自己的DJ技巧，

在过人的天赋及努力下Yuto用一年将自己永远留在了DMC历史上。

He is also slated to play Fuji Rock ’12 this summer with the live performance of his long-awaited second album, “CONTRAST.” As a standard-setting producer, his long awaited second album, “CONTRAST”, is a record that is definitely going to take him to the next stage of “Step In.”

The “CONTRAST” album release event “BASSCAMP” was on 6/30/2012 at ageHa in Shin-Kiba.  (BASSCAMP is the festival that DJ KENTARO organizes/directs, twice a year). The 5th & 6th BASSCAMP were held alongside with Malasimbo Lights & Dance Festival in Puerto Galera, Philippines, 2016 and the 7th BASSCAMP just finished in Tokyo in July 2016.

早在2012年Bass音乐刚刚出现之时Kentaro*创办了日本*以Bass音乐为主题的BASSCAMP音乐节，

并邀请到了LOUDPVCK，Hoodboi等艺人作为演出DJ。

5届BASSCAMP的在日本年轻人群体中产生了巨大的影响，

Kentaro也成功将Bass音乐推广成为了日本Ravers派对中*为热门的音乐风格。

DJ Kentaro’s produced DJ Academy “World DJ Academy” in Tokyo has been going since 2015. 

He is currently working on his 3rd full produced album. (Meant to come out from Ninja Tune/Brainfeeder in 2017).

ターンテーブリストであり、サウンドクリエイターである日本のDJ。世界*のDJバトル「DMC World Final 2002」において大会史上*得点というギネスを残し、文字通り圧勝でアジアから初の世界チャンピオンになる。その後、国内のビック・イベントや海外のフェスティバルなどに積極的に出演。40日間に渡るソロEUツアーなどを収めたDVD作品「National Geoscratch」を2005年1月にリリース、同DVDに収録された”Loop Daigakuin”は、Youtubeの視聴回数300万ビューワーを越える。

またNHKの番組「トップランナー」やSpace Shower TV IDなど数々のメディアにも積極的に登場し、2004年12月にはUK屈指の老舗レーベル(Ninja Tune)の音源のみを使用したミックスCD「On The Wheels Of Solid Steel」が世界リリースされる。また様々な楽器奏者や歌い手ともセッションを重ね、国内外アーティストのリミックスや楽曲参加など、数多くの作品を世に出している。

2006年4月に(Ninja Tune)とアーティスト契約を交わし、1stソロアルバム「Enter」を2007年に世界リリース。その独特にして強烈なリズムとジャンルを縦横無尽に駆け巡るサウンドデザインが評価され、オリコン・インディーズチャート1位、iTunesのダンスチャートではアルバム、シングル共に1位を獲得。2008年にはUKのレゲエ・レーベル(Pressure Sounds)よりレゲエオンリーの「TUFF CUTS」、また自身のレーベル(Endeavor)から「”NAMA” Live Mix」と立て続けにDJミックス作品をリリース。

2010年は、(Ninja Tune)のレーベル創立20周年を記念したコンピレーションCDに参加。2011年4月にはカリフォルニア州で行われた米*級の音楽フェス、コーチェラ・フェスティバルに出演を果たす。2012年には2ndアルバム「Contrast」をリリースし、新たにBass Music Festival「Basscamp」を新木場ageHaにてスタート。同年夏にはフジロックのホワイトステージにも出演した。

2014年10月にはロンドンで行われた「DMC World Final 2014」でのパフォーマンスも成功させ、地球上をジャンルレスな音楽観と共に飛び回るターンテーブルマエストロ、DJ KENTAROは、今もなおターンテーブリズムシーンの*前線を走り続けている。

2015年Vol 5, 2016年Vol 6とBASSCAMPは海を越えフィリピン、プエルトガレラにて開催、成功を収めた。2015年からは自身が講師を務めるDJスクール「World DJ Academy」を開校した。2016年Vol 7、”BASSCAMP Returns”は3年ぶりに日本にて開催、成功をおさめた。

DJ TO-RU是一个日本DJ来自仙台市，

一个北方城市，日本**的DJ Kentaro和DJ MITSU也是来自这里。

他在摇滚乐中长大，16岁时遇到了嘻哈音乐。他爱上了转盘文化，并于1999开始了《DJING》。

DJ TO-RU is a Japanese DJ from Sendai City, a northern city where top Japanese DJs come from such as DJ Kentaro and DJ Mitsu The Beats. He grew up with rock music and encountered hip hop at the age of 16. He fell in love with the turntablism culture and started djing in 1999. That was the time he met DJ Kentaro, who became the champ of DMC DJ Championship 2002 with the difference of a double score in points between him and the second place. To-ru then started scratching and has participated in various DJ competitions such as DMC Japan, ITF Japan to contribute to and establish himself in the turntablist scene in Sendai.

Toru’s DJ style is flawless and cross-genre, mixing hip hop to breakbeats, house, reggae to D’N’B. He just takes on quality music regardless of genre and attracts people with his flexibility, creativity and dynamism worldwide.

TO-RU自2009以来一直立足于曼谷，大力追求自己的音乐生涯。

他在泰国曼谷共有一家名为“Goja”的酒吧/俱乐部，自2014以来*一直在举办。

RU也是由DJ Kentaro主持的“转盘乐团”乐队的成员，与Q-BT，D-stylesswamp，switch和所有其他来自日本获奖的DJ。

To-ru has been based in Bangkok since 2009 and pursuing his music career energetically. He co-owns a bar/club called “GOJA” in Bangkok, Thailand and it has been happening since 2014. To-ru is also a member of “Turntable Orchestra” band which was conducted by DJ Kentaro, alongside with Q-bert, D-styles, Swamp, Switch and all other award winning DJs from Japan.
