Recharge gathers every months the free minds of Shanghai and presents a large spectrum of contemporary Art and electronic music . 

A night market will showcase new creations of indy brands, labels, designers …

For this edition we want to highlight the power and strengths of women with a curation of over 70 % of the Artists who are girls .All Girls noise band, all girls neo punk band, all girls VJ, girls Techno DJs, Girls dancers, girls action performances … of course there will also be some male Artists because we believe our differences are not sexual but stand  more in what we believe in , before all we are all HUMANS !!

The May  2018 edition marks the beginning of a new format for the Recharge events.

from 9 pm to 1 Am the main room of Mao Live house becomes the theatre of an immersive collective live show with Art installations / Action performances / contemporary dancers/ electro neo punk band / ambient and sound Art / electro to Tekno Dj’s and Live sets, and more … All the Artists and musicians will cohabitate within a common story telling which also includes the spect-actors.

from 11 AM to 4 AM the MAO Electronic Studio will explore the realms of Electronic Dance music.

每个月，在Recharge充电上你都能感受到来自上海当地自由思想，这些集合大量的当代艺术和电子音乐的派对，总能让来参加的人满血复活。5月的充电活动，将把“夜市”的概念引入MAO Livehouse X M.E，在市集上，你将看到各式各样设计师的新作品……这次活动，我们想要强调女性的力量和力量，70%以上的艺术家是女性，我们邀请到女子乐队、新晋女子朋克乐队、女性VJ、女性technoDJ，女性舞者进行现场表演…当然也会有一些男性艺术家，因为我们相信我们的差异不是性的，而是更多地站在我们所相信的，在我们都是人类之前！

2018年5月18日，从晚上9点到凌晨1点，MAO Livehouse变成了一个身临其境的集体现场表演的舞台，包括艺术装置/动作表演/现代舞者/电子朋克乐队/环境和声音艺术/电子到TeknoDj’s和Livesets，等等……所有的艺术家和音乐家都会同居在一个共同的故事中，这个故事也包括了所有的观众预计演员。从上午十一时至凌晨四时， MAO Electronic Studio将作为主阵地，带领观众一同探索电子舞曲的奥秘。
