Join us Saturday night when Mr Freeman, veterans of the local music scene, descend on caravan to launch their new China tour. It's an honor to have this event kick off in our humble stage where the band will perform their entire catalog.

Pop Rock band Mr. Freeman formed in Beijing in the summer of2009. Five guys from three different countries shout out their passion formusic and before they knew it, the band, Mr. Freeman, had become one of themost anticipated acts in the Beijing indie scene.

Mr. Freeman takes a free attitude to music and turns genrelabels upside down. From pop rock to punk, and hip-pop to fusion, there'snothing this band can't do if they put their mind to it.

After all, Mr. Freeman whistles to a different tune - the tuneof the multicultural mish-mash that is modern Beijing.

 Named one of Beijing's most promising bands by Beijing Daze,Mr. Freeman is ready to take on the world in their own (free)style. So put downyour work and free your mind - it's Mr. Freeman time!

Their first studio album “Here We Are” was released in may2015 and currently they are working on their second album which will bereleased in the second half of 2018.  

2009年的秋天，在一个看似无异于往常的日子里，Mr.Freeman自由先生乐队凭着对音乐始终如一的热情和对自由精神世界的向往应运而生。自此，在一次次的排练和一场场的演出磨合中，成员开始了他们的默契之旅。自2014年乐队进行了人员调整后，一位比利时华人及四位执着的北京本土音乐人成为目前的乐队成员。2015年他们推出了自己的首张专辑“HereWe Are-此时此地”。

Mr.Freeman从不定义自己的音乐并敞怀拥抱所有可能性，是探索、是汲取、是抒发、是创造。无论是在悦耳的温情旋律中，还是在狂热的躁动节奏里，他们相信只有*纯粹和自由状态，才能唱出动人的音符。

Mr.Freeman是一种生活态度，一种生命精神。即便如你我一般，龃龉前行在巨大的社会机器里，他们也不安于做困顿的平庸之辈。在纷纷攘攘的现世和人潮人海之中，开出一朵遗世独立的花，盈润的色泽绝不带着拒人于千里的孤傲与清高，也从不甘于曲意逢迎或媚俗讨好。当音符响起，他们一触即发。自由，*迸发在他们的眼神、指尖和灵魂里。

Mr. Freeman的音乐激发着听者的感官，他们说自己是幸运的，更是幸福的，没有什么快乐能够胜过执着与坚持所带来的满足感。自2009年起，伴随他们共同见证这一过程的，除了一群惺惺相惜的音乐界挚友，更有始终不渝支持着他们的亲朋和追随者。每颗被自由先生拥抱并撼动的心，都一同落入那片浓烈厚实的土壤，生根、发芽、摇曳。

ulu Bazz is the DJ set of longtime music writer, blogger and Caravan owner and Lead Singer of Moor Hick, "Badr Benjelloun". 

Not content to be just playing in bands and open-mics, he took to the turntables to fuse and merge new sounds together. From 70s punk to Classic Chinese yaogun, expect to hear the unexpected. Expect a full 80s set
