Powerhouse vocalist Ms. Lisa Fischer re-imagines classic songs, taking listeners on an intimate and unforgettable journey.  Lisa and her virtuosic trio Grand Baton create hypnotic grooves that are impossible to resist: an organic gumbo of progressive rock, psychedelic soul, African, Middle Eastern, Caribbean rhythms and classical influences. After years electrifying the world's largest arenas with legends like The Rolling Stones, Sting, and Nine Inch Nails, Lisa is emerging as an inventive and heartfelt artist in her own right.

Lisa's 1991 album So Intense featured the Grammy-winning hit song "How Can I Ease The Pain." But Lisa never put her own band together, never toured under her own name. Instead she kept her beloved day job -- singing backup for mentors like Luther Vandross, Tina Turner, and, for 26 years, The Rolling Stones. In 2013, the Oscar-winning documentary Twenty Feet from Stardom featured clips of Lisa's legendary duet with Mick Jagger on "Gimme Shelter" and glowing testimonials from famous colleagues. "Ms. Fischer has become the unexpected star of Mr. Neville's film," said the New York Times. After years supporting other artists, Lisa knew the time had come to take center stage.

Ms. Lisa Fischer and Grand Baton have toured the world for the last few years, and their collaboration keeps getting deeper and sweeter. Their new program "Just A Kiss Away," a celebration of classic rock songs with full orchestra, will debut in February 2018 with the Seattle Symphony. Ms. Lisa Fischer has also recently joined Yo Yo Ma, Billy Childs, Lang Lang, Anna Deavere Smith, and the Alonzo LINES Ballet for special projects.
