演出介绍

今年夏末的北京*美术馆，现代音乐女创作人岳璇，曾与一位视觉艺术家用音乐与科技跨界的形式，创作了一场“Live Coding Piano”音乐会。当感性遇上理性，视觉遇上听觉，不仅带来了不同学科间的碰撞，更让一场演出变得震撼而灵动。

在此次十二月十六日成都NU  SPACE的演出中，岳璇将与来自美国、现居成都的视觉艺术家PLGRM一起，合作一场特别的钢琴音乐会（Unusual Concert）。当寒冷的冬季夜晚，岳璇的温柔琴声与PLGRM的绚烂视觉，在你面前相互呼应时，相信不仅将带给观众们放松的感受，更能让你充分体验到视觉艺术与钢琴音乐的美感。

除表演方式上一直在尝试新的合作外，岳璇作为一名音乐创作者，在个人创作领域上也一直保持着思考的状态。在此次演出中，她将演奏今年*新发行的钢琴EP《Masse》。另外，此次演出的嘉宾女制作人吴卓玲，亦是岳璇在成都本地的音乐人好友，届时二人还将在现场献上一颗神秘彩蛋。

岳璇 YUE Xuan

音乐创作者。1990年生于湖南长沙， 现工作、生活于北京 。

16岁开始个人音乐创作，毕业于中国传媒大学音乐学系。

*张个人创作/演奏钢琴专辑《Hermaphrodite》，于2011年在美国Baltimore首发；

第二张个人创作/演奏钢琴专辑《内外/In & Out》，于2015年11月由Mo Records发行；2016年，基于个人专辑《内外/In & Out》，与13位音乐人合作发行Remix专辑《Entrance & Exports》；同年9月，在偏北音乐发行个人创作/演奏钢琴EP《Sea》；10月，由BabelRecords发行EP《Sea Remix》。

2017年6月，由Mo Records发行*新EP《Masse》。

Born in 1990 in Changsha, the capital of Hunan, China, Yue Xuan is a pianist and composer now based in Beijing.

Yue was born into a musical family and started piano lessons with her father, also a musician. She then studied piano with Profs. Zhou Ying and Han Yaping from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She graduated from the Musicology department of Communication University of China in 2013.

Yue began composing music at the age of 16. Yue’s first album Hermaphrodite was issued in 2011 in Baltimore, USA. Comprising of 7 most characteristic pieces including music for films and improvisations, it is also a cross-genre concept album.

Yue’s second album In & Out was released by mo records in November 2015. It is a musical summary of how Yue sees both the interior and the exterior.

In spring 2016, Yue invited musicians to join in the Entrance & Exports Remix project based on her second album In & Out. Her piano pieces were recreated into an album of 12 tracks which cover a wide range of styles including minimalism, post-rock, drum & bass, techno, glitch, drone, hiphop, experimental, ambient, IDM, among others. In September, the North music released Yue’s EP Sea, and in October, BabelRecords released Sea Remix.

In June 2017, Yue’s latest EP Masse was released by mo records.

PLGRM

Raised outside of Boston and based in Chengdu, Greg Finger is a digital artist with a background in audio engineering. He has provided visuals for club venues, festival stages and museum openings. His work includes light arrays, multi-surface projection mapping, interactive video installation and multiplatform software development for exhibition spaces. His creative coding toolkit includes: Max MSP, TouchDesigner, Unity, Cinema4D and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

吴卓玲 WU Zhuoling

集民谣唱作人、电子乐团主唱、音乐制作人、翻译作者、运动员等多重身份于一身。曾经北漂，效力于独立音乐厂牌，创建“星期三旅行”乐队，也曾悄然隐居西藏，研习藏传佛教，四处游历。她与全世界各类音乐人、制作人和艺术家有过合作，数次在中国各地及欧洲巡演，到目前为止已在中国*影响力的独立音乐厂牌发表了7张风格各异的专辑／EP，除了创作自己的作品外，她也为国内外独立音乐人的担任制作人和混音师。经过多年的沉积和磨砺，她逐渐形成了极具个人色彩的音乐风格。阴沉猛烈和恬静淡然的情绪在她的作品中交替出现，层层叠加的氛围和灵动节奏意在与听者建立起深层次的灵魂上的交流。

With her legendary personal experience and outstanding talent, WU ZHUOLING has become one of the iconic female artists in the independent music scene of China. She combines many roles into one: a singer-songwriter, a musician, the front woman of the livetronic band Wednesday’s Trip and a music producer, who has always been active in performing music live on stage. Her first album “Secret Mission” was made with Wednesday’s Trip and was issued in 2005 , but then she quit the band and moved to Tibet. After two years of reclusive life she returned to her home town Chengdu and restarted her music career, refining her personal style and cooperating with various musicians and artists. She toured all over China and part of Europe, with 7 albums/EPs issued so far by the most influential indie labels in China, and was nominated many times by all sorts of music prizes such as the Best Female Artist and the Best New Electronic Album of The Year, etc. She had also composed and performed music for the theatre play “13 Million Single Bathtubs” by Taiwanese director Xu Sixian, and engaged in a long distance cooperation with the Dutch media designer You Echo. Besides her own works, she also produced and mixed albums/EPs for other Chinese indie bands and a hip hop/jazz act. Through years of experience she gained a deeper understanding of music and gradually developed her own characteristic style. Whether her refreshing acoustic songs or her acid dark electronic pieces are both trying to touch the audience deep in their soul. The elegant melodies, deep and warm vocals, story-telling lyrics from a female perspective and the mystic tranquil atmosphere always endow her music a pure and unique quality.
