这支来自比利时的新古典、前卫爵士乐队，同时带有爵士乐、古典乐、摇滚乐的特色，也如同电影配乐一样充满画面感。他们的作品往往怀揣着如同潮水般澎拜的情绪，在众多音乐元素的包裹下，内在却是因古典乐、爵士乐的长期学习，而创造出的耐人咀嚼的旋律。

疯狂的节奏加之出色的演奏，他们的音乐呈现出难以预测的变化。在充满曲折的音乐情感中，能感受到抒情式的野性，柔和的示威，悲壮的歌吟。

2012年，源于对爵士音乐的热爱，三位极具才华的青年走到了一起，组成了Dock in Absolute乐队。成员皆是学院派的职业音乐家，分别是打击乐手Michel Meis、贝斯手David Kintziger和钢琴家Jean-Philippe Koch。乐队主要演绎钢琴手Jean-Philippe的原创曲目，作品完美融合了前卫爵士、古典乐、摇滚乐以及电影音乐，因此带来独具特色、情绪饱满、充满旋律的开放式爵士。

With a shared love of jazz, Dock in Absolute combine various styles of progressive Jazz, classical, electric, film music and rock, playing the pianist’s own compositions and co-created their unique jazz style in 2012. Dock in Absolute is made up of 3 professional musicians having studied at the Berklee College of Music Boston, Codarts University of Arts Rotterdam, Hochschule für Musik Saarbrücken, including Michel Meis (percussion), David Kintziger (bass) and Jean-Philippe Koch (piano).

Their fresh approach to jazz allowed them to push boundaries, and to explore the potential of new unique wave of sounds while adding strength to the jazz field.

在CAM JAZZ厂牌的帮助下，Dock in Absolute已在德国Bauer Studios录音室录制完新专辑。

Dock In Absolute also brings his new album out, recorded at the Bauer Studios, under the Label CAM JAZZ.

今年，星外星唱片还将引进发行Dock In Absolute的这张制作精良的同名新专辑！

This new album will be imported and release in China via STARSING MUSIC GROUP (星外星唱片).

迄今为止，Dock In Absolute参与了众多国际音乐节，例如香港国际爵士音乐节、日本横滨爵士长廊音乐节、北山爵士音乐节、罗马尼亚Sibiu爵士音乐节、都灵爵士音乐节、深圳爵士音乐节、布鲁塞尔爵士音乐节、卢森堡蓝调爵士音乐节......同时也在各国不同场馆进行演出，其中包括卢森堡皇家音乐厅、柏林B-Flat俱乐部、上海JZ Club、北京DDC、罗马尼亚Hot Jazz Summit俱乐部……
