Malstrom三重奏以即兴精神和严密的作曲为根基，将前卫摇滚、新金属和电子音乐揉进爵士，再加上纯粹的演奏乐趣，碰撞出一种独一无二的声音：后爵士核（Post Jazz-Core）。

这是乐队第四次来中国巡演。他们曾经历上海欧洲爵士音乐节、和OCT-LOFT音乐节等，也在许多俱乐部和Livehouse演出过。八弦电吉他的厚重音色、毫不停歇的架子鼓律动，再加上强力萨克斯。沸腾的气氛，音乐让台上台下融为一体！

Malstrom是一支来自德国和瑞士的三重奏乐队，活跃于国际巡演。他们的音乐游走于前卫摇滚、新金属、电子音色与自由即兴之间，不断变化、碰撞、消解。

 

这支乐队不拘泥于类型规则，而是把作曲视为一个有生命的系统：结构复杂，却从不固定；即兴不是点缀，而是驱动力。爵士语言与九十年代摇滚、金属乐的原始能量相汇，被三人塑造成密集、凶猛的声音景观。

The musical powerhouse from Germany and Switzerland is coming back to China!

Built on a spirit of improvisation and tightly wound compositions, this trio throws progressive rock, nu metal and electronic music into a blender with jazz and pure joy of playing, and what comes out sounds like nothing else: Post Jazz-Core.

 

This is the band's fourth tour in China. Malstrom has already played the European Jazz Festival Shanghai and the OCT Loft Festival, plus plenty of clubs and live houses. Their huge wall of sound: 8 fat strings of electric guitar, relentless drum grooves and a power sax. The rooms close to exploding, and the music leaving no line between band and crowd!

Malstrom is a trio from Germany and Switzerland, touring internationally. Their music sits between

progressive rock, nu metal, electronic textures, and free improvisation, constantly shifting, colliding, and

dissolving.

Rather than following genre rules, this band treats composition as a living system: structures are

complex but never fixed, and improvisation is not decoration, but a driving force. Jazz language meets

the raw energy of 90s rock and metal. The trio shapes it into dense, often brutal soundscapes.

Their sound is defined by 8-string guitar, saxophone, and relentless grooves, building massive sonic

walls and repetitive ostinatos that pull the listener into a vortex where precision and chaos, composition

and spontaneity coexist.

Malstrom has released six albums and toured for over ten years, performing in Japan, China, India,

Israel, across South America and Europe, including international festivals, clubs, and workshops.
