Adapted from Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland, this production was first presented by Brazil Giramundo Puppet Theatre in 2013. Fifty-five distinctive puppets share the stage with a human actor, while visual art, music and film come together to conjure a Wonderland where poetry and absurdity intertwine.

Lewis Carroll himself wanders among the characters and stories of his own creation. As reality and fantasy flow into one another, Giramundo breathes fresh, poetic life into this century-old literary classic, showcasing the theatre's distinctive approach to puppet design, stage aesthetics and cross-media storytelling.
