冯满天，阮乐器演奏家、音乐家，国家一级演员，当代阮演奏与创作的重要代表人物。

出生于音乐世家，自幼学习阮与月琴，少年时期进入中央民族乐团。此后数十年，他一面深入中国传统音乐与古代乐器研究，一面不断进入爵士、摇滚、布鲁斯及即兴音乐的现场，在传统与当代之间，寻找属于阮的全新声音。

他长期致力于阮乐器的研究、修复与改良，先后研发“无品中阮”与“仿唐隐孔中阮”，并由此建立起极具个人辨识度的演奏语言。对他而言，传统并不是固定的样式，而是一套仍然可以生长、变化并回应当下的声音系统。

在“空弦驱动”中，冯满天以阮咸为声音起点，与电子音乐、合成器及实时即兴相遇。这里没有预设的古今边界，也并非两种音乐风格的简单叠加——古老的弦音被重新释放，在电子声场中发生、碰撞，并共同抵达一个尚未被命名的现场。

Feng Mantian is a renowned ruan player, musician, and National First-Class Performer in China. He is widely recognized as one of the leading figures in the contemporary performance and development of the ruan, an ancient Chinese plucked-string instrument.

Born into a musical family, Feng began studying the ruan and yueqin at an early age and joined the China National Traditional Orchestra as a teenager. Over the following decades, his practice has moved continuously between the study of traditional Chinese music and the open territories of rock, jazz, blues, and improvisation, expanding the expressive possibilities of the ruan in contemporary performance.

Feng has devoted much of his career to researching, reconstructing, and reimagining the instrument. His innovations include a fretless zhongruan and a Tang-style ruan with concealed sound holes, both of which have contributed to the development of his highly distinctive musical language. For Feng, tradition is not a fixed form, but a living system of sound—one that can continue to evolve, transform, and respond to the present.

In Open Strings, in Motion, Feng takes the ruan as his point of departure, bringing it into direct conversation with electronic music, synthesizers, and live improvisation. This is neither a simple fusion of two genres nor a staged encounter between the ancient and the modern. Instead, the instrument’s resonant strings are released into an electronic sound field, where different musical languages collide, transform, and move together toward something yet unnamed.

In 2018, he received the Best Dance/Electronic Vocal Album Award at the CMA (Chinese Music Awards) presented by the Chinese Music Industry Association.

He is also the founder and host of the renowned independent online music radio station Dinosaur Radio, and has served as a music producer and host for Chengdu City Voice FM 102.6.

冯朗庭，青年音乐人，出生于音乐世家，自幼学习古典钢琴。近年来开始参与冯满天相关演出实践，关注于中国传统乐器与电子音乐的融合创作与现场表达，尝试以新一代审美经验重塑传统声音语言。其音乐风格兼具氛围感、实验性与当代气质，参与发行作品《曙光》《地平线》。

Born into a family with a strong musical heritage, Feng Langting began his classical piano training at an early age. In recent years, he has been actively involved in performance projects with Feng Mantian, exploring the fusion of traditional Chinese instruments and electronic music through innovative compositions and live performance practices.

Through his work, Feng Langting seeks to reinterpret traditional sonic languages from the perspective of a new generation, combining contemporary aesthetics with the expressive depth of traditional music.

His musical style integrates atmospheric textures, experimental approaches, and a distinctly contemporary character. He has participated in the release of works including “Dawn” and “Horizon.”
