这是为一位母亲举办的一场演出。

也许你曾听过在北京活跃了十余年的前卫迪斯科乐队「The Harridans」. 这一次，主唱 Dan 的妈妈要从英国来到北京看望她的孩子，于是，Dan决定为她的妈妈举办一场演出，让这位远道而来的母亲听一听他在北京创造的声音。

他邀请了三只乐队共同完成这场聚会，他们风格迥异，来自不同的国度，却因为过去几年在鼓楼的共同生活而紧密相连，他们都有着古怪的趣味，丰满的编曲，甚至共同的乐队成员，以及，总是热爱把更多乐器塞进自己的作品里面。

王忆灵&携火者刚刚结束全国巡演，即将带着他们为首张专辑《枯萎颂》呈现的乐队新编曲现场和新歌回到根据地北京，仿佛穿梭在七十年代前卫摇滚黄金年代与中国当代民谣之间。

每一个看过 The Harridans 现场的人无一不被他们的疯狂所感染。而他们将再次把他们的疯狂戏班带上DDC舞台，在前卫迪斯科的节拍下传颂他们对神秘不列颠传说的热爱。

为整晚压轴的 Spirit Rebellious 乐队则在当晚最后带来他们独树一帜的根源雷鬼，在Saso沙哑动人的嗓音和永不停歇的律动中忘记时间。

而这一次，他们将一起站在舞台上合作演奏彼此的音乐，与你你想象中的拼盘不同——你也许会看到某位吉他手连演两套曲目，管乐手在不同歌曲间轮番上阵，歌手们为彼此伴唱，还有一位打击乐手几乎没有时间走下舞台。他们将一起创造一个疯狂难忘的夜晚。

Beijing. Dear, old, Beijing. Where the hell did that holiday go? We’re in the same boat people, and we get it! Five days! That’s barely enough to go for a walk, call your mother and catch up on the three weeks of lost sleep you’ve been chasing for the past year. Fun… Is…. Over. So now, as we all give a collective groan and trundle off back to our desk jobs, let us say goodbye to our friends and family, and plough on through until the next three day weekend rears its head. If only there was something to do to brighten up the week….

As the post-holiday dread grips our city this Friday 8th, the lovely people over at DDC have decided to open their doors and put on a show exhibiting three bands that, although wildly differing in genres, are inextricably linked to one another over a shared collaborative union spanning the past few years. All three bands have bonded over a love of eccentricity, rich orchestration and recording projects that squeeze as many musicians onto them as possible, and they will be working together to bring a concert like no other.

Yiling and the Flame Bearers will be performing their new album (Write the name of Yiling’s album here), a dense chamber folk record that harks back to the glory days of 70’s folk rock. The Harridans will bring their madcap troupe to the stage of DDC again, preaching about their love of esoteric British lore over a prog-disco beat. And to cap the night off, we’ll be graced by Saso and his band of degenerates in Spirit Rebellion playing their singular take on Roots Reggae. The night is built around an idea of collaboration, as all members have worked together on each other’s music. Therefore we’ll have guitarists playing double sets, wind players jumping on between songs, singers coming together to duet with each other and one unlucky percussionist who will barely have time to leave the stage.

So come and join us this Friday to witness either the greatest gig of the year, or an absolute logistical nightmare that falls apart spectacularly.
