As we stumble recklessly toward the Year of the Snake - LiveChinaMusic wanted to reflect on some of the band’s that made the biggest impression this year - bands that have been steadily building their audiences, solidifying their sound, putting themselves out there, and doing the work. Bands on the cusp of breaking through in a big way. From YEPUSA’s eclectic sound that touches on everything from spry garage rock to crunchy post punk to The Third Toe’s theatrical and dynamic take on post punk, techno and cold wave; from Acid Room’s tenderly volatile indie rock to the noise pop fuzz of Blue Liquid’s sonic palette - these young blooded acts are redefining the music scene in China, and leading a new generation of rockers seizing the day. So let’s ‘freeze the day’ and bask in the afterglow of the Year of the Dragon.

第三脚趾来自上海，组建于2020年末。作品专注于当下生活和社会时事。

用语言去描述一个乐队是荒诞的。

比如他们在网易云官方介绍称自己是一支后朋克乐队。同时，他们在进行一个

融合了行为、装置等艺术形式的声音计划，

试图用拍手、电钻、汽油桶、安保棍、花瓶、输液管、脸盆等元素去构建一个不荒诞的第三脚趾。
