20世纪中叶，一种作为追求高度纯粹的创作以及不附载任何意义的聆听，将不可预见性的前卫艺术作为音乐表达方式，开始冉冉兴起。
实验音乐，通过音乐制作者“新”的剪辑方式，“新”的录音方式，“新”的乐器，“新”的作曲方式等等，探索情绪，探索形式，探索声音的边界。
“严肃音乐（Serious Music）或称艺术音乐（Art Music），指专业作曲家、歌唱家或演奏家为了表达个人思想或达到某学术目的而创作和演绎的音乐。一般特点是非大众、非通俗，艺术性、思想性较强。创作者、演奏者、欣赏者都必须具有一定的文化素养与音乐素养。”前卫音乐(Avant-Garde)，又称先锋音乐，作为严肃音乐的一种，它产生于传统音乐，又有明显的反传统特质。前卫音乐把音乐从娱乐性中抽离，在实验性的练习中以声音和听众连接。与传统的直接给予定义不同，前卫音乐一般不会给听众关于表达的定义，它提供的更类似一个思考的空间，是听众和表演者*直接的交流。
很多听众以“听不懂”和“听得懂”来归类音乐。听音乐，不管是娱乐，还是严肃，懂不懂真的那么重要吗？我想我们本*不该去懂，听*是了，由此于每一个个体引发的不同思考，才是艺术*宝贵的地方。
这次上海前卫音乐节，我们邀请到了中国先锋音乐老、中、青三代音乐人，8小时不间断演奏。李剑鸿，VAVABOND夫妇，北京死硬噪音团体麻沸散和Nojiji／小雷音团体，北京地下中心SOS酒馆老板王子衡，中国粗噪音*折磨护士，迷幻天团汨Mii，新一代学院派先锋代表Ankar Arken，中国地下音乐元老李平，沪上实验噪音新星Acid和朱松杰，法国／瑞士即兴画师组合Le Crabe et la Mecano，芭蕾画师Rren，还有即将陆续加入的行为和装置艺术家，将在12月27日聚首上海LOFAS，通宵上演声音饕餮盛宴。

李剑鸿演出以吉他的即兴演奏为主，风格游走于即兴、噪音、迷幻音乐之间。目前除个人solo计划之外，还参与Mind Fiber、迷走神经（VagusNerve）等乐队。 2008年开始在环境与即兴演奏的相互关系中开拓创作新方向，以环境即兴为名进行系列创作。
Li jianhong'sperformance is mainly based on guitar improvisation, with the style wanderingbetween improvisation, noise and psychedelic music. In addition to his soloproject, he is also involved in such bands as Mind Fiber and VagusNerve. In2008, I started to explore a new direction of creation in the relationshipbetween environment and improvisation, and created a series of works under thename of environmental improvisation.

LE CRABE ET LA MECANO
“la Crabe et la Mecano”组合是2014年在上海成立的多技能艺术家组合。
Le Crabe住在日内瓦，她是艺术家和时装设计师。La Mécano诺居住在巴黎，她是一位塑料艺术家。
他们都对平面艺术有着深厚的热情和评论兴趣:特别是绘画。
Le Crabe et la Mecano强调绘画经验的交流与对话，创造属于他们自己的世界;通过使用无穷无尽的笔划来融合和不断地相互交谈，从而产生和形成一个整体。一个自发的舞蹈，听对方的动作节拍是实现平衡和和谐的关键。

The collective "LeCrabe et la Mécano” is a multi-skilled artist duo that was created in 2014in Shanghai.
Le Crabe lives inGeneva, she is artist and fashion designer. La Mecano resides in Paris, she is aplastic artist.
They both shared aprofound passion and comment interest for graphic arts: specially drawing.
Le Crabe et la Mécanoare able to create their own universe by emphasizing on the dialogue andexchange developed by the shared experience of drawing ; by fusing andconstantly conversing with each other through the use of endless strokes inorder to generate and form only one. A spontaneous choreography where listeningto the beat of each other’s movement is essential to achieve balance andharmony.
The evolution of thecollective's drawings is a symbiotic organic process where each protagonistfertilises the grounds and gesture of the other. As a consequence such processbrings into existence an art piece where one is unable to distinguish the workof one artist from the other. Instead one is urged to look at their work as aunified whole. Le Crabe et la Mécano express themselves on different artisticplatforms such as fanzines, murals, and tattoos among others which offers themthe freedom and opportunity to be artistically active and to put an accent onthe present, the now.
龚振，2018年出生于日内瓦，乐器。

Jared Mimm is an American conceptual artist based in Shanghai. His work examines social systems from everyday life, within the context of living in the urban jungle of a big city. He often develops projects with a partner, or invites the audience to interact with him during his performance, as an important part of his art practice. Reoccurring themes in his art deal with the body, nonverbal communication, ritual, sound, and intimacy.
