Mohanik is a “Nomad Rock” band formed in 2004 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.Ulaanbaatar is the capital of the country of Mongolia...not Inner-Mongolia! The band believes their second album Mohanik at Amarbaysgalant is a reflection of the development, intensity, seriousness and maturity of the members individually and as a band. The album was recorded outdoors live at a monasteryin northern Mongolia. Mohanik describes the meaning of their band name as, “It is a given name, and has no direct meaning; but our music, lyrics, the feeling, andthe emotions you get from our music represent the name.”
