Ava Rocha is brazilian/colombian singer, songwriter and filmmaker. Daughter of two filmmakers, she´s been in contact with cinema, since she was a child. Ava Rocha blends into her work an extension of the Tropicalia movement that was born in Brazil in late 70's. The gold rule of the moviment is the non-limits in possibilities of crossing over african, indigenous elements of the brazilian culture with rock n' roll and psychedelic elements. But Ava Rocha goes beyond creating together with Negro Leo, husband and producer, what is being called Post-Tropicalia. Now, elements of Asia, Middle East, Latin Americans and high doses experimentalism colides and blend together with rock n' roll, funk, soul, african beats and Bossa-Nova vibes. The result is something challenging, something embrace and mature a trully product of avant-garde art that doesnt exclude the listener but in contrary, introduce into a completely new ocean of possibilities. 听听这个后热带女巫的所有专辑： Listen to all the albums of this po
