梅卡德尔MERCADER，中国摇滚的年轻刺客。由赵泰创立于广州，前身是赵泰在石家庄的乐队“赵的立方体”。
梅卡德尔出版过四张专辑：《梅卡德尔》（2013）、《自我技术》（2018）、《阿尔戈的荒岛》（2020）、《机器情人》（2024）。
梅卡德尔乐队承传了上一个时代中国摇滚乐的精神血脉，道出了一代中国青年在现实困厄下的心声。优美旋律在暗黑工业噪海中神游，而灯光和VJ的视觉布道，令梅卡德尔的现场更像一个壮丽的祭坛，而赵泰的唱词，像被一道道闪电撕裂的时代启示录。
Mercader,from Guangzhou,is a leading force in China’s new-generation rock scene. Frontman Zhao Tai, who is also the band’s songwriter and guitarist, has quickly become a rising figure in Chinese rock.
Unflinching in their approach to social issues, Mercader voices the raw emotions of Chinese youth caught in a rapidly changing world. Their music is sharp, with a powerful and darkly beautiful intensity.
This four-member band blends alternative rock, post-punk, and industrial rock, skillfully mixing guitar noise, precise structures, and haunting melodies. Mercader’s live shows are a true spectacle, turning every stage into a rock altar.
To date, Mercader has released four albums: Mercader (2014), Technologies of the Self (2018), Argo’s Desolate Island (2021), and SXXROBOTA (2024).
