High-flying punk rock from Guangzhou, in the vein of NOFX and the Descendents.

“Yer mudder is like no udder” ... nobody has ever said that, and with good reason. It’s lame. What’s lame and says things they shouldn’t? Yer Mudder! Yer Mudder has been around since you were born. She’s always been with you, looking out for your best interest in everyday life situations. So lastly and most importantly, you should always, ALWAYS, listen to Yer Mudder. (Last part is said with an 80s wrestler tone of voice)

A Reptile Dysfunction – （Guangzhou / Folk Punk）

广州的一个民摇朋克乐队， 过来一起唱歌跳舞！

Folk Punk to jump and sing to! We thought we coined the name “A Reptile Dysfunction”. Turns out we didn’t. Oh well, at least the songs are original.

Thin City (Shenzhen / Rock)

Thin City （新城）搭着 “来了，*是深圳人” 的顺风车，成型为一支调皮、日常、有趣的原生魂——艺术朋克乐队，用艺术拼贴的玩法创造摇滚，将乐队中东、西方文化里声音和身份的冲突结合，成为本地的一个星球共和国，唱响拼贴中光怪陆离的听觉艺术。

Shenzhen art-punk group Thin City (新城) slipped out from beneath the ashes, spilt beer and amp grease at the demise of the Magma bar and its unhinged jam nights, and is inspired by leftfield guitar driven bands like The Fall, Pixies, Hedgehog and Life Without Buildings. Lead vocalists Lao Wan (also lead guitarist) and Catherine 艾 sing in English and Chinese about the upbeat and desolate, the everyday and absurd people and situations that surround them, backed up up by the pounding rhythms of bassist Simon Joubert and drummer Matt Dowling. Now as their live shows evolve they have started to exchange roles, with Simon and Matt also taking on lead vocals and instruments regularly switching hands.

Mott (Shenzhen / PunkRock???)

M0tt是一支从深圳城中村-白石洲跑出来的朋克乐队。两男一女所激起的霎时火花和不间断的吉他弹奏，使得这支乐队一开场*作好了抛弃世界的准备。

主唱咆哮、带着一点独白式的嘶哑嗓音，夹杂着隐约的蓝调女声低沉地诱导着人们的思绪。他们的歌词生活、朴素、跳跃、不讲究，不像写歌，更像是在和朋友神经质地聊天。透过金星撞火星的雌雄融合，情绪直接宣泄爆发，让你反叛，让你举手，让房间里的气氛瞬间升至沸点。

M0tt’s sound twists between big anthems to make people put their hands in the air, and off-kilter punk to make their fans jump around. In all these songs, you can find ragged, roaring distorted electric guitar and bassist Anne’s powerful voice. 

M0tt is music for people that work long hours, stay up past their bedtime, and wonder if it’s all going to turn out alright. The answer is yes. As they sing in “Home”: “I think

we’ll all make it home by the end of the night.” Or in “Winner”: “I remember the sound, I remember opportunity, and that sound leaves you lighter than air.” For the overworked students, they sing “I wanna go to the mall, I wanna watch a movie, I wanna watch TV.”
