Beijing celebrates the holiest of days - Cassette Store Day - an international holiday dedicated to all things cassette and therefore awesome. In China, everywhere from Guangzhou to Shanghai will be getting in on the action and here in Beijing local label Nasty Wizard Recordings, will be paying tribute the only way they know how - a epic face melting evening of rock and roll with some of the scene's most nefarious characters. Our guest of honor will be Shanghai punk outfit Ugly Girls, fresh off their red hot debut, whose female led righteous and downright hostile brand of punk will send spectators In a frenzy. Joining them will be post punk ruffians Lonely Leary, whose nervy jagged mania has made them one of the scenes hottest new commodities - they'll be releasing their much anticipated debut off of Maybe Mars early next year. Stoner rock outfit Electric Lady bring their ravenous 70s inflicted melodies and rock hard allure to the event - one of Beijings most underrated live acts. And finally, it wouldn't be a party without the amorphous, genre bending doom and opera-esque ballad of Guiguisuisui - an act that's constantly twisting your expectations. Four wildly diverse bands giving sweat, blood, and tears to the cassette lords - what more could you ask for? Tapes - a hell of a lot of tapes and don't you worry - Nasty Wizard will be supplying tapes from various labels all across China to fill that void in your life.

北京要庆祝今年的国际磁带商店日，所以这活动很牛。在中国上海和广州也想过国际磁带商店日，北京的下流巫师DIY厂牌邀请了四支完全不同风格的乐队，来自上海朋克乐队的Ugly Girls，他们*近发了首张非常好听的专辑，Ugly Girls乐队演的时候肯定会让你POGO，兵马司旗下后朋乐队的Lonely Leary，他们明年初准备发很期待的首张专辑，迷幻乐队Electric Lady是一支被低估的现场乐队，如果没有鬼鬼祟祟的话这*不是国际磁带商店日的派对，鬼鬼祟祟的每一场表演不一样。好期待。除了四支很精彩的乐队，此活动还有什么？磁带！磁带！磁带！下流巫师要带来他们的磁带，以及其他来自中国厂牌的磁带！

Lonely Leary (post punk/Beijing)

Beijing three-piece post punk ruffians, Lonely Leary, has a wonderful addictive sound – one that’s full of jagged edges, paranoid unease, and brooding psychedelic overtones. Their noise rock rowdiness and playful mischievous wordplay are all their own. Operating in the post punk dance hall world with such confident and tweaked relish, it sticks in you like a knife.

Guiguisuisui (opera punk/Beijing)

GUIGUISUISUI is a two piece journey into sound and performance. Man and woman, East and West, past and future, side by side blending electronic and 8-bit sounds with blues, rock, hip hop, doom, punk, noise, and ambient bliss while performing an avante garde opera featuring a number of characters: the zombie bluesman GUIGUISUISUI and immortal ninja SUSU; master of the dark arts KING NECRO and empress of the underworld PUMPKIN QUEEN; preacher and minister for the cult of greed LORD KAMEMAMEHA and high priestess of profit LADY CHAKRA. Meanwhile a journey through time and space plays out in the background through painstakingly detailed animations that explore the themes of life and death and rebirth. Simply put, GUIGUISUISUI is an experience.

鬼祟祟是由两人组成的乐队，乐队成员Dan Gaymer 来自英国肯特，职业教师主修人类学。另一名成员苏楠来自中国北京，职业跨界插画艺术家，主修产品设计。鬼鬼祟祟的演出模式配备了大量独特的迂回曲折DIY元素，比如背景节奏是在一个电路排架的gameboy上编写的，运用电子合成器与复古游戏磁带的采样，配以宗教信仰里的朝圣唱咏，以及“The Diddly Board”国王死灵的单弦滑板吉他制造声音。演出不可避免地将观众驱使进入一个无法定义，充满仪式感但又神秘莫测的“宇宙能量超现实主义世界”。

      声音与表演兼具的演奏形式是鬼鬼祟祟一直以来在音乐上所探索的旅程，这趟旅程里有阴与阳，男与女，东与西，过去与将来。在电子8-bit的节奏里融合了布鲁斯，摇滚，说唱，厄运，朋克，噪音，以及氛围灵性音乐。在超现实主义的歌剧表演形式里创造出一系列角色身份，角色分为不同阶段转换身份阐述音乐故事：僵尸音乐家鬼鬼祟祟与不朽忍者苏，黑暗灵魂使者死灵国王与地下世界皇后南瓜女王，贪婪邪典牧师教主卡梅哈梅哈与物质欲望崇尚女教主查咖拉。表演随着舞台背景在融合了时光穿梭与宇宙星辰的视觉动画视频里，用音乐艺术探索生命的奥义，死亡与重生。简单来说，鬼鬼祟祟是一份经历，一种感受。

     在鬼鬼祟祟的名字下发行了许多出版物，包括vinyl唱片，磁带，CD和电子杂志。鬼鬼祟祟密集的巡演是从2012年开始的，走过包括中国，台湾地区，韩国，日本，印度尼西亚，新加坡，马来西亚和英国。作为两名艺术家，鬼鬼祟祟制订了综合交错的巡演路线，小到落后城镇的临时场所，大到发达城市的演出俱乐部，仅仅在2014年鬼鬼祟祟*进行了超过100场的表演。
