Martin Fabricius TRIO was established in 2007 by Danish vibraphone player and film music composer Martin Fabricius. The music, which is written by Martin Fabricius with financial support from the Danish Art Council, has a distinct nordic tone with strong melodies and has, by more than one critic, been described as image creating, beautiful music with healing powers.

Martin Fabricius TRIO成立于2007年，由丹麦制音器和电影音乐作曲家Martin Fabricius组成。由Martin Fabricius在丹麦艺术委员会的财政支持下编写的音乐，具有独特的北欧风格以及强烈的旋律，并且由不止一个评论家描述其为“形象创作，具有愈合力量的美丽音乐”。

The trio recorded their first CD, When Sharks Bite, in 2008 which JazzNyt hailed as one of the best 10 Danish jazz CDs to come out that year. Since then the trio has performed all over the world attracting a growing audience of listeners both familiar and new to jazz, who appreciate the welcoming, friendly nature of the music.

In 2014 came Out of the White which among other praise has received 5 stars from All About Jazz and has been one of the most played jazz albums on Danish National Radio. Out of the White was re-released by the German jazz label, Berthold Records, in march 2017.

Martin Fabricius Trio

Martin Fabricius is a Danish vibraphonist and composer. Martin studied the vibraphone with Ed Saindon and Gary Burton at Berklee College of Music and graduated suma cum laude with a major in film scoring in 1996. Since then he has written the music for more than 30 short- and documentary films and has recorded three albums in his own name. Martin has also recorded with Ornette Coleman's legendary Prime Time bass player, Jamaladeen Tacuma, and is a member of Tomasz Stanko's band, The Tomasz Stanko Experience.

Martin's music is often described as melodic, calm, image provoking and sometimes even healing. He's latest album Out of the White was released on the German label, Berthold Records and received among other praise a 5 star review from All About Jazz.

Andreas Markus 

Andreas Markus is bass player with deep roots in the danish tradition for virtuous double bass playing. Andreas studied with Niels Henning Ørsted Pedersen at The Rhythmic Conservatory in Copenhagen. He has played and recorded with myriad of very different artist such as Thomas Clausen, Afeginn, Teitur, Jacob Anderskov and when Saints Go Machine.

Jacob Hatholt

Jacob Hatholt 's drumming style is totally unique and could be described as a mix of such different drummers as Dave Weckl and Paul Motion,- free, yet groovie. Jacob Hatholt has been a professional drummer since his teens and was granted a full sponsorship as a “super talent” from Yamaha Drums by the age of 20. Jacob has played and recorded with hundreds of great musicians such as Randy Brecker, Francesko Cali, Gianni Bardaro and George Garzone.
