Live Beijing Music的校舍摇滚活动回到自己的噪音根本！邀请了外地的两只乐队：来自保定的噪音摇滚乐队The Playcat与来自上海的极小后摇二人乐队Hei Mu. 参加的还有北京新人瞪鞋摇滚队Default和从贵阳到北京的Run Run Run, 两个只有相当大的发展空间的乐队。来学校酒吧听听！
Schoolhouse rock returns to it’s nosier roots with a kinetic, reverb heavy, sprawling, atmospheric showcase featuring two very special out of town debuts as well as two of Beijing’s newest up and comers primed to explode in the next year.
Formed in the bitter winter of 2017, Baoding noise rock outfit The Playcat already has a bit of a history with Beijing’s underground rock scene with one of their members bassist Yang Fan originally cutting their teeth at D-22 with the original Birdstriking lineup – a hypnotic mix of psychedelic indie rock and shoegaze swag, the band has been rehearsing and prepping nonstop for their much anticipated Beijing debut at School Bar. The Xi’an born Shanghai raised Hei Mu, known most noticeably for his work in the electro-psych outfit Nonplus of Color, has been exploring the experimental boundaries and imaginative minimal sounds of post punk and industrial music in the past year, and is ready to unleash his new sound with his debut Beijing show. On the homefront, we have shoegaze outfit Default, who released their spellbinding debut California Nebula earlier this year to much acclaim, giving the young soon to be college graduates plenty to look forward to in the future as well as a record deal with SJ Records in Shanghai, who quickly picked up the release and got the band an opening slot for The White Tulips earlier this summer. Maybe Mars’ newest acquisitions are no stranger to Beijing – the noise rock group who hail from Guiyang has been making frequent stops to Beijing throughout the years and after a rousing performance at this year’s Wetware Festival, the band has relocated to our smoggy abode as their hone their sound and prepare for their upcoming debut release on Maybe Mars – feverish 60s jam rock that goes to unexpected places.

Established in Guiyang in 2014, Run Run Run blends the together the free-wheeling sounds of the 60s and 70s and finding the patterns and beautiful happenings found in free improvisation, simplifying it and re-forging it into something hypnotic.
Run Run Run于2014年初在贵阳成立，乐队*初三位成员为吉他手窦朝，贝司手Franck，鼓手郑杰，随着2014年末键盘手/吉他手邓杰的加入，乐队形成固定的四人阵容。乐队成员均受到大量六七十年代乐队的影响，乐队名字来源于卢.里德在“地下丝绒”乐队期间创作的一首歌名。
Run Run Run尝试将所吸收过的各种音乐类型加以融合，成员之间以自由的即兴演奏于创作中相互影响，再记录并梳理诸多素材，将其部分简化并重新锻造，转换为固定的音乐形态与乐队所期望表达的声音
