华裔说唱歌手Bohan Phoenix再次回到Motherland，带来史上*味觉冲击的旅途——“加辣”巡演。北京站由Bohan的北京Family、低音团伙Do Hits倾力呈现：首脑人物Howie Lee将与纽约低调的音乐奇才Dutch E Germ、实验音乐人Jason Hou以及两位视觉艺术家veeeky、Thoiid一同带来全新音视频现场演出。

Chinese-American rapper Bohan Phoenix is back at the motherland on a brand-new tour following the release of his latest JALA EP. His Fam label Do Hits will be presenting the Beijing show: bossman Howie Lee will bring out New York’s low-key music genius Dutch E Germ and avant-garde Chinese musician Jason Hou, putting on an audio/visual live show with visual artists veeeky and Thoiid.

【Howie Lee】

Howie Lee是大中华地区电子音乐领军人物，他将东方理念与采样融合低音，变成了自成一派的独特声响，驱动着全世界华人血管深处的律动使之沸腾，影响了一代年轻的中国制作人。2015年他在洛杉矶传奇厂牌Alpha Pup发行的个人全长专辑《木屮山出》标志着中华电子乐反输出的重大突破。

2017年年初纽约时装周，Howie Lee第二次登上全球地下音乐平台Boiler Room。新EP《无家》与单曲“四海”的MV受到Dazed、Fader、FACT、Pigeons & Planes、Hypebeast等音乐、艺术、时尚媒体的关注。他在视觉艺术上也不断突破，为自己以及Jason Hou，Meuko Meuko等音乐人制作了风格鲜明的MV。Howie Lee即将带来更多沉浸式的音视频演出，刷新电子音乐现场的*体验。

It's not often that you'd expect to find that bass-heavy sounds of UK sitting together with Chinese melodies and sound textures, if there is one producer who's doing exactly that, then look no further than Howie Lee. Fusing together his Chinese heritage and British training, the Beijing based producer is steadily carving out his own niche, demonstrating a rising awareness of what contemporary dance music can be.

In 2015, his debut album Mucheshanchu was released on LA’s legendary label Alpha Pup, winning Best Oversea Album by Golden Melody Award in Taipei. He then completed a tour around Asia with his partner drummer Zhangyang, presenting audio/visual live shows, which was also broadcast on Boiler Room. He has also made great achievement in animation, contributing visuals for musicians such as Jason Hou, Meuko Meuko, gaining support from media like i-D and 88rising.

【Dutch E Germ】

Dutch E Germ（原名Tim DeWit）是曾经4AD先锋摇滚乐队Gang Gang Dance鼓手/主脑。退出乐队后以Dutch E Germ为名，他时常在Venus X的GHE20G0TH1K派对演出，也曾为时尚品牌Hood By Air的秀制作音乐，他的音乐通过Arca的*还被Kanye West采样过。在Dutch E Germ的音乐历程中，一直能听到一种区别于所有其他人的异域之感，无论是在节奏或是旋律上。今年年初，Dutch E Germ机缘巧合结识了中国*影响力的电子音乐人Howie Lee，两人一拍即合，开始大量即兴Jam、录音，几个月之后Dutch E Germ再次来到中国，准备和Howie Lee完成一张合作专辑，并带来现场演出。

Dutch E Germ (Tim DeWit) was the drummer/founding member of avant-garde rock band Gang Gang Dance. As a solo artist, he’s performed at Venus X’s seminal Ghe2oG0th1k parties, composed music for the fashion line Hood By Air, and was sampled on Kanye’s Yeezus. He has consistently spread an exotic sense of rhythm and melody wherever his career has taken him.

Tim met up with China’s most influential and pioneering musician, Do Hits record label head Howie Lee on his first trip to China earlier this year. They became friends immediately and started jamming for hours every day. Before Tim left for New York, the two had recorded hours of improvisation in preparation for a collab album.

【Jason Hou】

Jason Hou是来自北京的音乐制作人、作曲者、母带工程师，曾赴加拿大学习录音艺术，14年回国后专注创作融合中国元素的先锋电子音乐。他曾代表“中国地下之声”在英国*地下电台Rinse FM带来guest mix，他的音乐受到鼓大师Jojo Mayer和*厂牌Mad Decent、地下音乐平台Boiler Room的*。他为Nu Desine公司的球形MIDI控制器Alpha Sphere制作的演奏视频在Facebook上获得上千万次的浏览，而这个球形控制器也成为他Live演出的标志性符号。2016年，Jason Hou受邀赴德国在宝马100周年的创新大奖颁奖典礼带来特别演出。

Jason Hou与视觉艺术家Miaojing一直在进行合作艺术项目“渐”，两人也曾为Fashion Now的设计展设计声光装置。

Jason Hou is a music producer and composer from Beijing. He has diverse experiences working across a wide range of genres like Classical, Pop, Metal, Ethnic and Electronic music. After studying and working in Canada for 8 years, he returned to Beijing to focus on producing electronic music that incorporates Chinese elements. From mid 2015, Jason joined local producer/DJ collective and label “Do Hits” and has already played a dozen shows in Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai, with acts like Jubei, SP:MC, Plastician and artists of Soulection. He has published music in all 3 Do Hits compilations. Recently he has done a guest mix for Plastician’s “Sound of China” show on Rinse FM. His music was also recommended by Jojo Mayer and has mentioned on Mad Decent's blog. His performance video of the AlphaSphere, a MIDI controller made by British company Nu Desine, has gained more than 10 million views on Facebook. His co-developed software synth plugin Wiggle is also well-received by users from around the world.

Bohan Phoenix was born in a rural area in China and immigrated to the US at 11, unable to speak a word of English. He took a liking to hip hop instantly and learned the language quickly by rapping along with just about anything he could get his hands on. Today Bohan is an anomaly in music, a fixture in both the NYC and Chinese underground scenes bridging the musical gap between East and West, touching on universal topics of love, family, pride and motivation in both English and in Mandarin.

This year, Bohan Phoenix kicked off 2017 with the Chinese New Year release of his latest EP JALA on Friday, January 27th, starting with the project’s title track and video, which premiered The FADER and 88rising. The EP features an international cast including Chengdu trap stars the Higher Brothers, production from China’s most in-demand producer Howie Lee of Do Hits and more. JALA was met with critical acclaim and was included on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Apple Music’s Hot Tracks, garnered a spotlight on Revolt, interviews on Bandcamp Daily, Magnetic Mag and a Boiler Room and Fendi performance during New York Fashion Week alongside Migos, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin.
