Simone Schirru是一位近期移居北京的意大利籍吉他手，他于2006年在意大利开始了自己的职业音乐家生涯。在2005年及2008年的国际爵士音乐节“Ai Confini tra Sardegna e Jazz”，Simone荣获*吉他手及*乐队称号。自此之后，他与众多乐队都有过密切的合作，如“Guitto Gargle”, “Cuenta Contemporanea”,“Ajo-jo mandi & the Youngers”, Progetto Nudo及Pixeldrama, 不仅如此，Simone同时经营着自己的独奏表演“Improsa Tongue”。他们的足迹遍布世界各地许多音乐节和颇具声望的地方，如意大利，比利时，美国和印度。

在比利时，Simone Schirru是当地一支知名Soul乐队“Man on Fire and the Soul Soldiers”的重要成员。同时，他在比利时Lemmens学院完成了自己的爵士吉他硕士学位，并追随当地许多首屈一指的音乐家学习，如Peter Hertmans, Frank Vaganée, Ron Van Rossum和Bo Van Der Werf。

在2016年初，Simone作为布鲁塞尔五重奏的其中一员，与乐队在杭州JZ俱乐部展开了3个月的驻场演出。自此之后他开始巡演中国的许多城市，如上海，苏州，常州，厦门，合肥，保定和北京。当下，Simone Schirru任教于北京现代音乐学院，并且积极活跃于北京的爵士音乐领域，不断领导着许多不同的乐队演出，例如他为了向Ornette Coleman致敬而创造的组合：Invisible，同时他也是Bad Monk三重奏的其中一位*，并在许多乐队中都扮演着重要角色，如Leela, Tongues of Fire, Core等等。自2016年底，他正式成为了BlueNote Beijing大乐队——BNBJO的其中一员，开始了在BlueNote Beijing长期的演出合作。此外，BNBJO也会时常邀请特别嘉宾同台演出，如Micheal Mossman和Mark Turner。

在职业生涯中，他曾与许多优秀音乐家合作，如Sabir Mateen, David Cossin, Enzo Favata, U.T. Simone Schirru is a guitar player, composer and Teacher

He graduated in “Jazz Guitar” Academy of Music “G.P.da Palestrina” in Cagliari studying with M. Ferra.Afterwards He got his master degree in Jazz Guitar at“Lemmens Institute” in Belgium studying with P.Hertmans,Frank Vaganée, Ron Van Rossum and Bo Van Der Werf.

He joined the Master Classes led by D. Douglas, S.Coleman, Butch Morris, P. Metheny, A. Braxton, MuhalRichard Abrams, G. Fewell, Roscoe Mitchell, W. LeoSmith, John Scofield etc.

In 2005 and 2008 won the Scholarship of the International Festival of Sant’anna Arresi as best guitar­player and best Band studying with G. Fewell (Berklee College) and R. Cecchetto.

Beside a lot of jazz bands he also played with Kangling, Oghene Kologbo & theWorld Squad, Nestor Martin, Lorenzo Agnifili Big Band, and his brand new bands “Invisible” and“Elegant People”.

He also collaborated in a theatrical events and musical reading.

Nico，1975年出生于意大利帕多瓦，1994年进入比萨大学航天系，2003年毕业后成为了一名工程师，在校期间，在世界音乐大师Nino Pellegrini的指导下，开始学习爵士乐，并组织了一直爵士三重奏乐队，2002年，获得比萨爵士比赛的*名。一年后，参加著名的sienajazz夏季讲习班。跟随大师Pietro Leveratto学习爵士提琴。2003年，他在海牙音乐学院学习爵士提琴，2004，转到荷兰布鲁塞尔音乐学院。自从2002年起，Nico在组织乐队在比利时，法国，瑞士，德国，拉脱维亚以及在中国和台湾进行丰富的爵士乐演出，风格涵盖gipsy jazz到avant­ garde等，创作上，他试图恢复纯粹的即兴爵士乐传统。

In 1994 he enrolled in the AerospaceDepartment of the University of Pisa andbecame Engineer in 2003.

Progressively introduced to theacademic world of music by thehand of Master Nino Pellegrini, hestarted to learn jazz doublebass at

the private school Scuola di Musica "G. Bonamici" in Pisa, in 2000. Hesimultaneously worked with school combos lead by Andrea Pellegrini withmonographic project on Mingus, Monk and Parker. He took part into workshops fortalented musicians with Italian doublebass players Paolino Dalla Porta (Pisa, 2000)and Furio Di Castri (Terni, 2001). He took part into a special 2­years course orientedto the "Piano trio language" with pianist Enio Corsaro and drummer RobertoTraverso. Masters Stefano Battaglia, Paolino Dalla Porta and Fabrizio Sferra taughtthe course. And as a result of their trio's work over a year time, they were awardedthe first prize First Pisa Jazz Contest in 2002. Later that year, he followed theprestigious SIENAJAZZ Summer Workshops. He increased his skills studying jazzdoublebass with Master Pietro Leveratto, combo class and refined ear training withMaster Pietro Tonolo and theory and analysis with Stefano Zenni. In 2003 he wasgranted a place for studies on jazz doublebass class at The Hague Conservatory, inthe Netherlands. In 2004 he switched to Brussels Conservatory where he studied fortwo years with Bart De Nolf, Diederik Wissels, Jeroen Van Herzeele, among others.

His performances since 2002 have taken him to play in many jazz and non­jazzclubs in Europe (Italy, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany, Latvia) as well as inChina and Taiwan with various bands, all of which were rich in sound diversity,techniques and repertoire; from the duo to the Big Band, from gipsy jazz to avant­garde, including singer­songwriters of French (Brazùk), Arab (Jawhar Basti – winnerOctaves de la musique 2014), African (Oghene Kologbo and World Squad), Italian(Giacomo Lariccia), English (Kirsty McGee) tradition or élite­pop (Silver Junkie).

Currently he's leading his own group, a two saxes­bass­drums quartet with whichhe's trying to meet the jazz tradition with the innovation of purely improvisedmusic. As sideman he's working with ZOLA quartet, KIND OF BLUE TRIBUTE (BrunoCastellucci, Gino Lattuca, Eve Beuvens, Michel Mainil and Thomas Champagne)and some less steady projects.

In 2013 he's held a series of concerts in Taiwan with a special project with local musicians and friends he met in Brussels Conservatoire: Hsieh Min­Yen, Chen KuoHua, Tseng Tseng Yi (Mike Tseng), Andrew Salim.
