纸老虎乐队，北京当下*炙手可热的独立摇滚乐队，将把大连作为全国巡演的首发站 

他们被音乐界的重量级人物们称赞为“*炙手可热的新独立摇滚乐队”。他们*近发布的音乐视频在不到24个小时的时间里，被在线观看超过5000次。现在纸老虎独立摇滚乐队把大连选作全国巡演的首发站。 

他们充满爆发力的，让人情不自禁想跳舞的音乐让人联想到The Clash, The Cure 和Block Party, The Arctic Monkeys的结合。乐队的原创新音乐由来自不同大洲的四位经验丰富的成功音乐人，在北京欣欣向荣的地下音乐环境里共同创作。 

纸老虎的成员分别来自美国，欧洲和澳大利亚，他们现居中国，并在中国演出。乐队成员曾在自己的*和其它*有着丰富的演出经验和获奖经历，包括全球巡演，为众多*乐队开场，同时他们的音乐在广播滚动播放，影片在全国电视网络上播出，他们的唱片更是达到高达一万张的唱片销量。 

乐队极富魅力的主唱Joey Catanzaro，曾为澳大利亚老牌朋克乐队Unpaid Debt的主力成员。他曾与国际知名乐队NOFX, The Bouncing Souls and Against Me一起出现在各大音乐节和巡演上。在中国，纸老虎乐队的成员也曾与众多知名乐手、乐队合作，包括苏紫旭、the Paramecia, 发光曲线, Lazy Camels以及川子。

BEIJING’S HOTTEST BAND, THE PAPER TIGERS, CONFIRIM DALIAN WILL BE FIRST STOP ON NATIONAL ALBUM TOUR 

They’ve been lauded as the “hottest” new band in China’s capital by some of the biggest names in Beijing’s music scene, their recently released music video was viewed online more than 5,000 times in less than 24 hours, and now Indie band THE PAPER TIGERS have confirmed they have chosen Dalian as THE FIRST stop on their national album tour of China. 

With an explosive and “danceable” sound reminiscent of The Clash and The Cure meets Block Party and The Arctic Monkeys, The Paper Tigers’ original new music is the creation of experienced and successful musicians from four continents forged together in Beijing’s booming underground scene in late 2015. 

Having lived and performed in China, the US, Europe and Australia, the band’s members boast award winning musical experience in their home countries and abroad that includes international touring experience, a swag of big name supports, high rotation radio play, film clips broadcast on national networks and record sales topping 10,000.  

The band’s charismatic lead singer, Joey Catanzaro, previously fronted the veteran Australian punk rock band Unpaid Debt, which shared festival and tour bills with internationally acclaimed groups such as NOFX, The Bouncing Souls and Against Me. In China, band members have also previously performed with, or supported, well-known acts that includes Su Zixu and the Paramecia, GlowCurve, Lazy Camels and Chuanzi.  

Going from strength to strength over the past 12 months, The Paper Tigers have continued to wow audiences and local media in Beijing. 

Now they are going national, touring to promote the release of their debut, self-titled album. 

And their first stop will be Dalian’s Hertz Bar on April 20. 

“Our band writes songs about China from a foreign perspective,” says Paper Tigers front man, Joey Catanzaro. “It’s something different and new. 

“I’ve visited Dalian before and it’s a great city full of great people. There’s a creative energy there that really stands out in all of China, and I’ve seen a lot of China. I can’t think of a better place to kick off our national tour and we can’t wait to perform for the people of Dalian!”
